JFT Band to be Showcased at Pausa Art House on March 17th

Pausa Art House will be the place to be on Saturday night, March 17th when the JFT Band will provide musical backdrops for WORDISM: Jam Sessionz.

JFT is a jazz-funk and soul trio consisting of legendary Buffalo, New York musicians Jerry Livingston on electric bass, Carl “Flute” Johnson on drums and led by Toney Rhodes on keyboards.

WORDISM is the premier non-competitive open microphone event for spoken word artists. It is usually held once a month at EM Tea Coffee Cup Café, on Buffalo East Side (80 Oakgrove Ave, Buffalo, NY 14208). WORDISM: Jam Sessionz is a special event where live music is provided as a backdrop to any poet who would like to perform.

Jumanne Pitts is the host of WORDISMJam Sessionz. The Saturday, March 17th event will also have a feature poet at the end of the evening: “The Proverbial One” Martin Sonchild.

WORDISM: Jam Sessionz events are usually packed and the energy is always amazing. Pausa Art House is located at 19 Wadsworth Street in Buffalo, New York.

The cost is $10.

The show opens at 8 PM.
